How to Read a Research Compound COA
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is a laboratory document used to summarize analytical results for a tested sample or lot. For research materials, the COA helps connect a listed product to its supporting analytical documentation.
What to Review on a COA
Useful items can include the product or sample identifier, report or COA number, testing laboratory, analytical methods used, reported results, and any lot or batch references shown on the report.
